What is PayPal?
PayPal is Ticketek’s newest way to pay online. It allows fans to use a secure, fast online payment method when purchasing tickets.
PayPal is now available for customers to use when buying tickets online at ticketek.com.au on both desktop and mobile devices.
How does PayPal work?
At checkout, select PayPal as your payment method.
You will be redirected to the PayPal website, where you can log in and complete your payment.
Once the transaction is complete, you will automatically return to Ticketek to view your order confirmation.
Why don’t I see PayPal as a payment option?
PayPal is available across the Ticketek website but is not currently available on Ticketek Marketplace or through non-digital sales channels.
Are there any fees for using PayPal?
Generally, there is no fee for purchases in Australian dollars.
If your transaction involves currency conversion, PayPal may charge a fee as outlined in their Combined Financial Services Guide and Product Disclosure Statement.

Yes. Your financial details are always encrypted and protected when using PayPal.
Will I get a confirmation for my transaction?
Yes. PayPal will send a confirmation email once your payment has been successfully processed.
Is PayPal available on mobile and desktop?
Yes, PayPal payments can be made on both desktop and mobile devices.
Refunds for cancelled or rescheduled events
Refunds will be processed back to the card linked to your PayPal account.
If the original card or account is no longer in use, funds will be credited to your PayPal wallet.

PayPal Pay in 4 – Buy now, pay later
PayPal Pay in 4 allows you to pay for purchases under $2,000 AUD in four interest-free instalments:
First instalment is due at the time of purchase.
Remaining three instalments are due every two weeks.
Available to eligible applicants and subject to PayPal terms.
