Who can use a Family ticket?
A Family ticket is designed to make it easier and more affordable for families to attend events together.
For most events, a Family ticket admits 2 Adults and 2 Juniors or 1 Adult and 3 Juniors. “Junior” typically refers to a child within the age range specified by the event or promoter, which may vary by venue or performance.
Some events may offer alternative Family ticket combinations, such as 1 Adult and 1 Junior.
Family tickets are only valid for the configuration listed on the event page. If it is unclear what a Family ticket includes, or if you have a larger group, please submit a request, and we will provide guidance.
Family tickets are a convenient option, but seats are allocated according to the promoter’s seating plan. Families should review their seat allocation carefully before completing the booking.
What qualifies as a concession ticket?
Concessions are reduced-price tickets offered at the discretion of the promoter to specific groups. They help make events more accessible to students, pensioners, and other eligible patrons.
Common types of concessions include:
Full-time Students – Requires a valid student ID
Pension Card holders – including Age Pension, Disability Support Pension, or Carer Pension
Health Care Card holders – issued by the Australian Government
Eligibility for concessions varies by event. Some events may only offer concessions for certain price categories, dates, or session times, while others may not offer concessions at all.
Event pages will typically indicate whether concessions are available, and you may also see additional details via a link to the promoter’s event-specific FAQ.
If you see a concession price listed and are unsure whether you qualify, or if the event page does not specify eligibility, please submit a request. Our team will confirm whether you are eligible before you complete your purchase.
Please note that concession tickets are non-transferable unless otherwise stated, and you may be asked to present proof of eligibility at the event.
