Pre-Sales Information
Pre-sales give customers the opportunity to purchase tickets before the general public on-sale. They do not guarantee better seats and are not a preferential seating service.
Pre-sales are typically run by promoters, venues, or artists and are not available for all events. Check the promoter, venue, or artist pages for details.
They usually occur online a few days or weeks before the general public on-sale, with a limited allocation of seats. Seats released during a pre-sale are chosen at the discretion of the promoter and may be located anywhere in the venue. Ticketek does not offer exchanges or refunds if you purchase pre-sale tickets and later see other seats you would have preferred. Ensure you are happy with the available seats before completing your booking.
Pre-sales can be brief, and ticket allocations can sell out quickly. Receiving a pre-sale invitation or code does not guarantee tickets. Access may be offered through a promoter, sponsor, artist, or associated party and may require a password or specific link to purchase.
Using Your Pre-Sale Code
Enter your pre-sale password in the correct field, usually located below the venue dropdown or the “Find Tickets” button on the event page.
If Your Pre-Sale Code Isn’t Working
Check that the code is entered exactly as it appears in your email. No typos or extra spaces.
If it still doesn’t work, contact the organisation that issued the code for assistance.
You can also contact Ticketek for support. Please note that having a valid code does not guarantee ticket availability. If the allocation is sold out, you may need to try again during the general public on-sale.
