You’re protected in your purchase. Ticketek Marketplace ensures you receive the tickets you ordered or provides a full refund if there is an issue.
What is the Buyer Guarantee?
You will receive valid tickets in time for your event, or your money back. If any issues arise, Ticketek Marketplace works with the seller to resolve them. In the unlikely event that replacement tickets cannot be obtained, a full refund will be provided.
When Will I Get My Tickets?
Print at Home PDF tickets are uploaded to your Marketplace account or emailed to you. These are generally sent immediately or within 48 hours of purchase. Delivery may be delayed if requested by the promoter or venue. Check your order history or email invoice. If tickets are not received within five business days before the event, contact us.
What Will a Marketplace Ticket Look Like?
Tickets originally sold through Ticketek will be reissued with a new barcode and your name on them. The original ticket will become void, ensuring you are the only holder. Ticketek Marketplace is the only platform that guarantees Ticketek ticket validity.
Forgotten or Expired Password
Visit the login page, click “Forgot Password” and enter your registered email. Follow the email link to reset your password. Check your spam/junk folder. If you do not receive the email, your address may not be registered, and you may need to join.
Resetting Your Password
Log in with your existing password, go to My Account, then select Change Password to update it.
Refunds and Exchanges
Ticketek Marketplace does not own the tickets, so cannot offer refunds or exchanges. If the event is cancelled or rescheduled, you will be refunded the amount paid. You may also resell tickets if you cannot attend.

How Did I Get to Marketplace from Ticketek.com.au?
Some tickets are only available on Marketplace and may no longer be on Ticketek. Tickets purchased here are guaranteed by Ticketek Marketplace.
Last-Minute Ticket Purchases
Tickets will appear in your Marketplace account shortly after purchase. Confirmation emails or invoices do not serve as tickets for entry. If tickets do not arrive, bring photo ID and your confirmation to the venue box office.
Venue Collection
Some events may require tickets to be collected at the venue box office. Only the buyer with confirmation and photo ID can collect tickets.
Purchase Cancellations
Ticketek Marketplace cannot offer cancellations or refunds. Unsuitable tickets may be resold on Marketplace.
Ticket Restrictions
Some tickets may have restricted, obstructed, rear/side view, or alcohol-free seating. Check the "Additional Details" tab before purchasing.
Consecutive Seating
Tickets purchased as a bundle will be consecutive. Tickets from multiple orders cannot be guaranteed together.
Merchandise
Marketplace Fan to Fan tickets do not include merchandise. Merchandise is often sent to the original ticketholder before resale.
Price Differences
The price you pay per ticket is set by the seller and may differ from the ticket’s printed face value. No ticket will be resold for more than its original face value.
Fees
Service and handling fees cover the end-to-end delivery, including relisting, support, and staffing at events. The Ticket Reissue Fee covers cancelling the original tickets and issuing new tickets in the buyer’s name. Fees are per transaction and clearly displayed at checkout.
Multiple Listings
Different listings for the same event are set by individual sellers. Tickets may be sold for any amount up to the original face value.
Terms and Conditions
The Terms and Conditions outline your obligations as a buyer and the rules for using the website.
Payment Handling
Funds are securely held until you have attended the event. Once attendance is confirmed, payment is released to the seller.
Lost, Damaged, or Stolen Tickets
Contact Ticketek for assistance. Do not share ticket images online, as resale for events cannot always guarantee reissues.
Ticket/Invoice Mismatches
Contact us if your tickets differ from the invoice.
Error Messages During Purchase
Do not attempt to purchase again. If no confirmation email is received within 24 hours, submit a request, and we will investigate.
Order Confirmation Email Not Received
Ensure your email address is correct and check spam/junk folders. If not received within 24 hours, submit a request. Alternatively, check your Marketplace account order history.
Duplicate Charges
Submit a request with full details, including the amount charged, credit card type, last four digits, and screenshots from your statement. Include any additional relevant information.
Successful Orders
If you do not receive confirmation within 24 hours, submit a request. Check your Marketplace account to view and access purchased tickets.
Print at Home Tickets
PDF tickets require a PDF reader (Adobe 8.0 or above). Tickets may be printed in black and white on A4 paper.
Gift Cards and Vouchers
Gift cards or vouchers are not accepted on Ticketek Marketplace.
Multiple Orders in One Transaction
Tickets from different sellers must be purchased individually.
Accessible Tickets
Check the listing for accessibility information. Once purchased, tickets cannot be exchanged.
Age Restrictions
It is your responsibility to ensure tickets are suitable for attendees. Check venue, promoter, and Ticketek event pages for recommendations.
