What is Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and how does it work?
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) provides an added layer of security to help protect your personal information. It requires you to verify your identity before you can access or update sensitive areas of your My Ticketek account.
When you attempt to access or make changes to your account details, a one-time passcode (OTP) will be sent to the email address linked to your account. You need to enter this code to proceed.
You will not be prompted for MFA when signing in to purchase tickets. It only applies when accessing or updating your account details.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why did I receive an email with a one-time password? You received this email because someone (possibly you) attempted to access or update your account information. This is part of our security process.
I didn’t receive a code. What should I do? Double-check that you’re using the correct email address to log in to your My Ticketek account. This should be the same email you used when purchasing tickets. If you’re using a new email or no longer have access to the one on file, contact our Customer Service Team for assistance.
I changed my details. Do I need to do anything else? No further action is needed once you’ve entered the one-time passcode and successfully updated your information.
What should I do if I didn’t request the code? If you didn’t try to access or update your account, we recommend logging in to review your details. If anything appears suspicious or you're unable to log in, contact our Customer Service Team for help securing your account.
Can I turn off Multi-Factor Authentication? No. MFA is a mandatory security measure designed to help protect your account from unauthorised access.
