What is Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and how does it work?
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) adds an extra layer of protection by requiring you to verify your identity when accessing your personal account information.
When you access areas of your Ticketek account online you will be prompted to authenticate your identity.
A one-time passcode will be sent to your email address linked to the account.
When you successfully enter this passcode you will be able to access and edit your account details.
You will not need to use MFA when signing in when purchasing tickets.
Frequently Asked Questions.
- Why did I get an email with a one-time password? You received this email because you (or someone else) attempted to access and update your account details.

- What do I do if it wasn’t me? If you did not request this change, please log in to your My Ticketek account and update your details immediately. If you are unable to access your account or need assistance, contact us here, and our Customer Service Team will help you.
- Can I turn off Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)? No, this is a security measure designed to protect your account.
