We’ve created this hub to provide you with the information you need to feel confident and prepared when purchasing accessible tickets for your next event.
Booking Accessible Tickets
Customers can purchase accessible tickets online, directly with one of our agents, or by requesting a callback. Below is detailed information on the booking process and helpful resources to ensure you are prepared and ready to make your purchase.
- Online Booking: You can now purchase accessible tickets online for a wide range of events. Use the “Accessible” filter on the event page to view the accessible ticket types available.
- Request a Callback: If tickets are not available online for your desired event, complete the Accessible Ticket Booking Form, and a member of our team will contact you to assist with your booking.

Ticketek’s online experience accommodates a broad range of accessible options, allowing you to purchase accessible and non-accessible tickets in the same transaction.

Companion Card Tickets
If you hold a government-issued Companion Card, you may be eligible for a complimentary ticket for your companion.
Important:
A full-priced ticket must be selected when redeeming a Companion Card ticket.
Only government-issued Companion Cards are valid (Carer or Pension Cards are not).
Companion Card ticket availability is at the venue and promoter’s discretion.

Accessibility Types
Ticketek and venue partners offer a variety of accessible ticket types to accommodate different needs:
Accompanying Guest: A seat that is located in an Accessible location for use by patrons who do not have accessibility needs. An Accompanying Guest ticket can be obtained as a Companion Card ticket or sold as paid admission.
Bariatric: A Bariatric Ticket is available in selected venues for use by patrons who prefer a larger seat.
Companion Card: A Companion Card is a card issued to people with a significant, permanent disability. Patrons holding a valid Companion Card are eligible for a complimentary Companion Card Ticket. If you have been issued a Companion Card ticket, you may be required to present your Companion Card at the Event on Event Day. Easy Access: Accessible Tickets are available for patrons with mobility issues or have accessibility needs, but do not require a wheelchair location. These seating locations are typically accessible via less than 5 stairs, are located close to amenities such as toilets and may be close to the venue entry/exit.
Hearing Impaired: These are available for patrons with a hearing impairment, using hearing aids to access a hearing loop system.
Sign Language Interpreter: Sign Language Interpreter Ticket is available in selected events for use by patrons who are Deaf or hard of hearing who require a sign language interpreter.
Vision Impaired: Vision Impaired Ticket is available in selected venues for use by patrons with a visual impairment.
Vision Impaired with Guide Dog: Vision Impaired with Guide Dog Ticket is available in selected venues for use by patrons with a vision impairment who require their Guide Dog to be present during the event.
Wheelchair Accessible: Wheelchair Accessible space is a location that is wheelchair accessible because (a) the seat has been removed from that location to accommodate a wheelchair; or (b) the location is permanently a dedicated wheelchair space. A customer who purchases a Wheelchair Accessible seat will remain in their wheelchair for the duration of the event.
Wheelchair Accessible Accompanying Guest: A seat that is directly next to or in front of a Wheelchair Accessible space, that can be obtained as a Companion Car ticket, or sold as a paid admission.
Please note: Not all venues or events offer all accessible types.
