What Happens if My Event is Cancelled?
If your event is cancelled, Ticketek will email you with all the necessary information, including instructions about refunds and any next steps. You do not need to contact us directly unless instructed.
Even if we do not have your current email address on file, your refund will still be processed automatically.
Refunds for different purchase types:
Credit or Debit Card Purchases:
If you purchased your tickets online using a credit or debit card, you will automatically receive a full refund, including the cost of any Refundable Ticket purchases (if applicable). No further action is required from you.Agency, Gift Voucher and Cash Purchases:
If you purchased tickets at an agency using cash, EFTPOS, or a Ticketek Gift Voucher, you will need to submit a refund request via the Refund and Payment Form. Make sure to include all relevant purchase information to help us process your request efficiently.
Processing time:
Refunds may take several business days to process, depending on your payment method and bank processing times. The cancellation email will provide an estimated timeframe for your refund. Once the refund is processed, you can verify receipt by checking your bank account, card statement, or the method used for the original purchase.
Additional Information:
Refundable Tickets are included in refunds for cancelled events, so you do not need to submit a separate request for them.
If you purchased tickets for multiple events, each cancelled event will be refunded separately.
By following this process, Ticketek ensures that all fans are refunded efficiently and that no action is missed on your part.
