Mobile tickets allow you to access a digital ticket directly on your mobile phone.
How can I access my mobile tickets?
Mobile tickets are best accessed through the Ticketek App. If you are unable to download the app, you can also access your tickets via the links in your confirmation email or through your order history on the Ticketek website.
Do I receive an SMS with a link to my mobile ticket?
No. Following your purchase, you will not receive an SMS. The Ticketek App is the primary way to access your mobile tickets. Alternatively, tickets can be accessed via your confirmation email or order history.
Mobile Ticket Sharing
Mobile ticket sharing lets you securely send individual digital tickets to family or friends, allowing them to access their tickets through the Ticketek App. This ensures every attendee has their own ticket for entry.
How to share a ticket:
Open the Ticketek App and go to the Your Tickets tab.
Tap Share next to the ticket you want to send, or select Share ticket on the mobile ticket itself.
Follow the prompts to share via email or SMS.
How does the recipient accept a shared ticket?
The recipient will receive a unique link via email or SMS.
They must log in to a Ticketek account or create one to accept the ticket.
What if the recipient hasn’t received the ticket?
Visit your order history in the Ticketek App.
Find the shared ticket and check its status.
Verify the recipient’s email or mobile number is correct.
You can cancel or recall the share and attempt to resend it.
Timeframe to accept a shared ticket:
Recipients have 48 hours to accept the shared ticket. If not accepted within this time, the ticket returns to your order history, and you will receive a notification.
Undoing a shared ticket:
If you shared a ticket and no longer want to, go to Your Tickets in the Ticketek App or click the SMS link for the ticket.
Based on the ticket’s status, select Cancel or Recall.
The ticket owner will receive an email notification.
Undoing a ticket you’ve accepted:
If you’ve accepted a shared ticket you no longer want, go to Your Tickets in the Ticketek App and tap Return.
The ticket will return to the owner, and they will receive an email notification.
Helpful tips for arriving at the event
Before arriving, open the Ticketek App or the links in your confirmation email.
In the Ticketek App, select Tickets to reveal your mobile ticket and prepare it for scanning.
At venues with turnstiles, hold your phone so the barcode is displayed under the scanner.
At venues using hand-held scanners, present your mobile ticket to a staff member for scanning.
If you cannot access your mobile ticket at the venue, visit the box office for assistance. You will need to be the account or cardholder and present valid photo ID.
For some events, tickets may not be released until 24–48 hours before the event. If your tickets have not arrived, the venue box office can assist.
